Patty Chang is primarily known for her short films, videos and her performance art. She often plays a central role in her own work, testing the acceptable boundaries of taste and endurance. Some of her work contains critique perceptions of female sexual roles. In Munich she will be showing a new film and several graphics.Her work has been recognized by many cultural organizations, she was a fellow in the Visual Arts at the American Academy in Berlin for fall 2008.Patty Chang, born in 1972 in San Francisco, USA, lives and works in New York.
